It is that time of year to get ready to plunge for a great cause,Special Olympics Illinois.

They are a global organization that unleashes the human spirit of joy of sport,every day around the world. Special Olympics are changing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities solving the injustice.

Special Olympics gives opportunities to nearly twenty-two thousand athletes. The Oath of the Special Olympics is "Let me win. But if I cannot,let me be brave in the attempt".

The Polar Plunge, presented by Law Enforcement Torch Run and GEICO is a unique opportunity to support Special Olympics Athletes by taking a flying leap. The Plunge will take place at Upper Moorman Park in Quincy,Illinois on Saturday, February 27, 2016.
