We get them every day and sometimes more often than that: Robocalls. And the Quincy Police Department is warning Tri-State seniors about the latest.

The robocall is targeting seniors and claiming to be an officer from the Social Security Administration asking for personal information. According to a press release from the Quincy Police Department...

The officer is stating that there is a legal enforcement action against your social security number and gives a scam phone number to call back with a Washington, D.C. phone number.

The QPD reminds you to NEVER give out your personal information over the phone. And if there was an issue with your social security number, that office would not contact you by phone. Don't fall for it.
