This morning, if you can volunteer your time, you are desperately needed to help sandbag at the Oakley-Lindsey Center.

According to a post on the Adams County Emergency Management Facebook page,

Due to critical issues that have developed overnight, the Adams County Emergency Operations Center is urgently requesting the public’s assistance in filling sandbags. All sandbags created yesterday have been depleted. Levee districts and critical infrastructure needs to be reinforced.

If you would like to help sandbagging, meet at the Oakley-Lindsey Center. You must be 16 years or older to volunteer, and sign in and out when you arrive and leave. This is a all hands on deck as things are starting to get critical in some areas.
