Salvation Army’s Adopt a Kettle Campaign Underway

The Salvation Army needs your help in manning the kettles during the holiday season ahead. They are asking you to Adopt a Kettle.Basically, you gather your friends, family, and co-workers and call the Salvation Army to reserve a time and date to help ring the bells. If you would like to adopt a kettle call 231-5633 or go to ringbells.org.

Last year kettles were left unmanned at several locations due to a lack of personnel to man them.  It is the hope of this campaign that that will not reoccur. I personally handled the bell ringing at one kettle and it was fun.  I met quite a few people and felt good about being able to help out.
