Salvation Army Christmas Baskets/Toy Town Applications Begin Monday

The Salvation Army will begin taking applications in Quincy for Christmas Food Baskets and Toy Town on Monday, October 21 through Friday, October 25. Sign-up will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday in the Worship Theater of The Kroc Center.

You need to be aware that the verification of guardianship of children and current address documents has changed this year. Applicants should bring a photo ID and social security card of the individual signing up, proof of guardianship of children such as a birth certificate or medical card showing children’s names and birth dates (social security cards will not be accepted), proof of current address such as a piece of mail (driver’s license will not be accepted), and proof of income from the last 30 days.
