Road Trip to KC for Whataburger

Whataburger is making it's way to Kansas City! And I have never had it before, so who is down for a road trip?

If you listen to "Mornings w/Mark and Sam" then you already know that I have a passion, and love for Fast Food. I have tried so many fast food places, all the National Chains like McDonald's, Taco Bell, and Burger King, to Regional Icons like, Culvers, In-N-Out Burger, and Bojangles', BUT there is one of the all time classic regional fast food chains I've never eaten at Whataburger.

Well lucky enough for me there are FOUR planned Whataburger restaurants planning to open in Kansas City. According to an article on www.kake.com the massively popular Texas Burger chain plans on expanding into the Kansas City market soon, saying...

"The company will be hiring 700 local employees in the coming months, ahead of the fall openings of four Whataburger...Whataburger has not released specific dates on those openings, but said they are planning on holding a series of events leading up to then."

They even say that Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes (a Texas boy himself) may have helped speed up the move for Whataburger to come to Kansas City from his social media cries for the chain to come there.

I know Kansas City is a 4 hour drive BUT that is nothing if it means that I can spend a weekend in a great American city, eating massive amounts of great BBQ, and topping it off with a trip to an iconic fast food chain that I've never been to before.
