The 2nd Annual Red, White & Back the Blue Festival will be held at Washington Park on Saturday, July  21. The event will run from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature a day filled with fun activities for the whole family in honoring our local Law Enforcement, Fire Department and EMS units. Emergency Services equipment will be on display from 2 to 5 that afternoon, a bounce house from 2 to 8 p.m., a magic show at 4 p.m., face painting and balloons animals during the afternoon and live music from 6 to 10 that evening.

Other activities will include a controlled burn exhibition by the Quincy Fire Department and a K-9 Dog demonstration by the Quincy Police Department. There will also be food available for purchase from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. from the Hy-Vee Grill.

There will also be Red, White & Back the Blue t-shirts available for this event as well in sizes child small through adult 4X.  To order your t-shirt in advance for pick it up at the event, go to “We in Quincy Illinois Back the Blue” on Facebook. Orders are now being taken through Friday, July 11.
