Quincy’s Roller Derby Team Needs You!

If you have ever wanted to try roller derby in Quincy? Here's your chance!

The Dark River Derby Coalition (DRDC) will be holding tryouts the next couple of days. Tryouts will be at Scottie's Fun Spot (8000 Broadway) on January 21st from 10 AM - 12 PM, January 23rd from 6 PM - 9 PM, & January 25th from 6 PM- 9 PM.

Don't have experience in derby competition or knowledge of the sport? No worries. No experience is required and you can rent skates from Scottie's. Some protective gear will be provided as well if you need to borrow anything.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older to tryout. Being a part of the DRDC is a great way to stay in shape, learn a new sport, and have fun. They will teach you everything you need to know about roller derby. The upcoming season starts in March, so you will have plenty of time to learn the game and get comfortable on skates.
