We all went to school and part of that experience was gym class. Some loved it and others hated it. I guess it depended on your interests.  One of the more popular events held during gym class was "Kickball". It was a game that everyone could play no matter what your skill level was. Someone rolled a ball and you kicked it. It wasn't like climbing a rope or hanging literally on a parallel bar. You kicked a ball and ran to first base.  It was fun and with that in mind, the Quincy YMCA is helping you to re-live your youth by holding an Adult Kickball League. The games will be played at the YMCA on Thursday evenings for people 18 and older.  There will be a total of 8 games on the schedule with the first game set for this Thursday, November 5. The cost is $250 per team of 8 to 10 players, with at least 4 women on a team.

Entry forms are available at the YMCA or at www.quincyymca.net with a deadline to sign up being today. For more information, contact Kristen Kretzer, the sports and special events director at the Quincy YMCA, at 222-9622.
