Effective Saturday, Quincy University will close all its buildings to the public until further notice.

The announcement comes in the wake of Governor Pritzker’s directive Friday for all Illinoisans to shelter in place, except for essential services.

As of 5 p.m. Saturday, all of QU’s campus buildings will be closed to the public, including the Health and Fitness Center and the chapel.

Prospective student campus visits are also postponed.

From Saturday afternoon through April 8th, only essential personnel will be permitted on campus to assist and care for students.
