A Quincy teenager has pleaded guilty to charges connected with the 2019 shooting death of a Quincy man.

In Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday, 17 year old Roger Parker, Jr. pleaded guilty to one count of second degree murder in the death of 18 year old Darrell Kelley, Jr.

Parker is alleged to have shot Kelley three times after an argument in the 600 block of Sycamore September 26th, 2019.

Parker was 16 at the time of shooting but was tried as an adult.

Parker will be back in court for sentencing August 13th.

He remains lodged in the Adams County Juvenile Detention Center.
