The Quincy Police Department, “We in Quincy, Il. Back the Blue”, and Harrison Hy-Vee have teamed up for the fifth annual “Quincy Cops Care Food Drive.”  This has been a rough year for many, so the Quincy Police Department would like to show our appreciation for all the support our community has given us during these demanding times.

Tomorrow (Wednesday, November 25) the Quincy Police Officers and volunteers with “We Back the Blue” will have 100 bags of groceries available for those who need a little help making this Thanksgiving holiday a happy and healthy one.

The food distribution will take place at the Indian Hills parking lot at 6th and Harrison at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. At 11:30 a.m. volunteers will be at the Lampe Hi Rise north parking lot.  It is not required you be a resident of either location to attend, anyone in need is welcome.
