Quincy Park District Adds Volleyball Courts to Moorman Park

The Quincy Park District has added a new feature to Upper Moorman Park as they have built a new sand volleyball complex. The new volleyball addition was developed by the Park District as a result of the increasing popularity of volleyball in the area.The volleyball courts are located next to the tennis courts just east of Moorman Lake. The sand volleyball courts are now officially open according to the Park District with registration underway for a sand volleyball league being formed as well. The deadline to sign up is Friday, May 11.

The cost is $150 per team with an 8 game schedule that begins June 4 through August 5. The courts are also open to the public Monday through Sunday as well.
