The Quincy Museum, which is located at 1601 Maine, will be opened Tuesday through Sunday from 1 pm to 6 pm with a new exhibit for visitors. The museum has made space to allow for appropriate physical and social distancing, so small groups can browse and explore the museum’s three floors without any worry.

On the first floor of the museum, visitors will be taken back to the 1800’s with the living space of the Newcomb-Stillwell family, as well as antique clothing from the 1800s through the 1960s. When visitors head to the second floor they will be introduced to a new exhibit featuring Quincy’s media history with memorabilia from WGEM and KHQA. I love old media memorabilia, takes me back to how it all got started

If you are interested in getting a small groups together, you are to call ahead to schedule a tour time, especially for groups of 5 up to 10. You can call 217-224-7669 or visit thequincymuseum.org for more information.
