If you want your voice to be heard about issues affecting your neighborhood then make sure you attend a Town Hall Meeting at Quincy University on Tuesday, April 17.  The meeting has been set up by Mayor Kyle A. Moore to enable him to meet with constituents and address some of their concerns and will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Hall of Fame Room at 18th & Oak Streets.

The Mayor will also comment on his proposed 2019 budget for the City of Quincy. The Mayor's initial budget proposal included the possibility of a re-closure of Fire Station #6. That no longer is an issue after city aldermen approved $76,000 to be transferred to the department to make the final payroll of the fiscal year. A question & answer session will also be made available during the meeting.

There will also be some light refreshments provided and everyone is welcomed to attend.   For additional information, contact Vicki Ebbing at 228-4545.
