Quincy Gems to Hold ‘Military Appreciation Night’ Saturday

If you pick one night only to see the Quincy Gems play baseball that night would be this Saturday as the Gems will hold their "Military Appreciation Night" at Q.U. Stadium.

The gates will open at 6 p.m. Saturday night for the 7 p.m. game against the Terre Haute Rex. There will be free hot dogs and soda from 6 to 6:30 with the military honoring ceremony beginning at 6:30. All branches of service will be recognized during the ceremony.

All veterans will be admitted free to the game Saturday night which will end with a fireworks display. So if you know someone who is a veteran invite them or at least let them know that they are welcomed to attend the game at no charge. Thanks to all who have served our great country and enjoy the game and the fireworks display on the Quincy Gems.
