There will be fireworks and a street fair in Quincy this 4th of July, here are all the details you need to know...

We announced last week that the city of Quincy will be officially pushing back their fireworks display to Labor Day weekend at the end of Summer. But that doesn't mean there wont be a 4th of July Celebration in Quincy this Saturday.

There are two 4th of July Facebook events spreading across the social media site, the first one hosted by Re-Open Adams County, is called the Quincy Street Fair, it is  scheduled for for this Saturday (July 4th) from 5 pm to 10 pm on Quincy's riverfront. On the event page it says...

"Join us for our 4th of July Street Fair! July 4th from 5p-10p on Quincy's Riverfront! There will be Live music, Local vendors, and of course Fireworks!"

The other event is called Celebrate Freedom! It is being hosted by the Quincy Tea Party and it's a promotion of their fireworks show. The fireworks show will be Saturday night on the Quincy riverfront in conjunction with the Street Fair. The event is scheduled from 8 pm to 10 pm. On the Celebrate Freedom! event page they do say "You're Free to social distance and wear a mask". There will be an option for you to see fireworks in Quincy and support local street vendors this 4th of July, just remember whether you stay in or go out this 4th of July weekend to drink responsibly, and never drink and drive!
