With temperatures in single digits this morning it is hard to be thinking Little League Baseball right now, but before we know it the weather will turn and kids will be wanting to play ball at the Quincy Family YMCA.  To get ready for the upcoming season the YMCA is currently holding baseball registration for children ages 3 through 15. One of the great traits of the YMCA Little League is that the "Y" prides themselves on helping children develop skills, fundamentals, teamwork, and learn sportsmanship all while being active and having fun while playing.

The upcoming T-Ball season begins May 6 with a deadline to sign-up being April 10 for 3 to 6 year-olds and will consist of 8 games that are played in just one hour.  The fee is just $35 for members and $40 for non-members.

Children ages 7 thru 15 will play games with innings and will have live pitching as well. That season will also consist of 8 games played at the YMCA.  The fees for children ages 7 & 8 are $40 for members and $50 for non-members. The fee is $60 for members and $75 for non-members for children ages 9 to 15. The sign-up deadline for this age bracket is May 1 with games beginning June 3.

The YMCA is also looking for coaches and team sponsors as well.  If interested call the YMCA at 222-9622.
