The 2017 Quincy City-Wide Clean-Up will be held on Saturday, September 30 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Allied Waste Services will conduct the annual clean-up operation with a contract with the City of Quincy. This event for strictly for citizens of the City of Quincy and officials will be checking for ID’s at the disposal site of Front and Delaware Streets.  Officials caution that there will be long lines during this event.

Allied Waste will be on hand to help residents dispose of bulky or large items. Residents will be directed to dispose of smaller items themselves. From past history, over 400 tons of discarded waste from over 2000 vehicles will be collected.  No commercial vehicles or hauling will be accepted.

There are some restrictions as to what can or cannot be dropped off. For those restrictions, go to the City of Quincy’s website of www.quincyil.gov.
