I had the opportunity to go to Quincy Regional Airport (Baldwin Field) this morning to pick up a few gentlemen from our Corporate Office of Town Square Media, the new owners of Y101, KICK-FM, KHMO, and WLIQ. It was the first opportunity for me to meet these gentlemen. Several saw my New York Yankee logo on my car and I quickly found out that most were also Yankee fans so we immediately had something in common other than being in the media.  The visit was a short one and back to the airport they went.  The last time I was at the airport was when President Barack Obama was there. While waiting there this morning I walked thru the terminal and got to thinking just how nice this airport is and with Cape Air now operating out of it more and more people are probably saying the same thing.  Many small cities would love to have an airport like ours.  The runways are even long enough for very large planes to take off and land.  With free parking and an easily accessible terminal it is a no brainer to fly from here. Hopefully, Cape Air can expand and fly to the west to Kansas City and to the north to Minneapolis or Chicago in the future. One step at a time.  St. Louis is fine right now.
