Summer can be hard on families to provide food for their children. The Quincy Public School district wants to help that need by providing free breakfast and lunch all summer.

Several Quincy Public Schools will be opened to students ages one to eighteen who need breakfast or lunch at no cost. Here are the times and places of when the meals will be served:

Rooney Elementary - June 10th - 28th

Community Breakfast 7:00 - 7:30

Summer School Breakfast 7:30 - 8:00

Community Brunch 9:00 - 9:30

Summer School Brunch 9:30 - 10:00

Quincy Sr. High School - June 10th - 28th

Community Breakfast 8:15 - 8:45

Summer School Breakfast 8:45 - 10:15

Community Lunch 11:15 - 11:45

Summer School Lunch 11:45 - 12:45

Berrian School - June 10th - August 2nd

Community Lunch 10:45 - 12:00

YMCA arrives around 11:00

Adams School - June 10th - August 2nd

Kroc Center 11:15 - 12:00

Community Lunch 12:15 - 1:15

Plus, for those in need of transportation that is available as well. Students will be transported to Adams School for lunch, and will be supervised. Pick up locations are located at Washington School (1400 South 8th) and Frederick Ball (815 Elm Street). This service will run Monday - Thursday only with pick up times at Noon and drop off times at 1 pm.
