The Quincy Police Department will be trying to raise funds for Special Olympics tomorrow morning and afternoon. The QPD will be set up at two different locations, 24th and Harrison and 18th and State, this Friday, July 19 for the Spare Change for Real Change Special Olympics fundraiser.

Officers will be collecting donations of “spare change” from motorists at those intersections during the early morning and late afternoon hours.  The QPD has raised the most money in the entire state of Illinois for the last two years from this event for Special Olympics.
