The chance to become the first school to ever win four straight basketball titles came to an end today for the Quincy Notre Dame Lady Raiders as they lost to Joliet Catholic by the score of 70 to 59 in the State 3A semi-final round.

With the loss, the Lady Raiders will take their 29 and 4 record into tomorrow's third place game against Burlington Central High School at Redbird Arena in Normal, Illinois. That game begins at 12:15 Saturday afternoon.

Central lost earlier in the day to Lombard Montini 34 to 26. Montini will now meet Joliet Catholic for the State Championship Saturday afternoon.
