When the season began for the Quincy University Baseball Hawks little did they know that they would be making a trip to the NCAA Division II World Series. Thanks to late inning heroics in several games in the Regional tournament, the Hawks managed to continue on to the World Series in Grand Prairie, Texas. It will be the first ever appearance for the Hawks in the Division II World Series.

Their opponent will be Colorado Mesa on Sunday night at 7 p.m. Central time.  It is a double elimination tournament.  Good luck to the Hawks in their quest for a national title. Listed below is the first round schedule.

SATURDAY, May 27

West Chester vs. North Georgia  3 p.m.

Lindenwood vs. Delta State 7 p.m.

SUNDAY, May 28

St. Thomas Aquinas vs. U.C. San Diego 3 p.m.

Quincy vs. Colorado Mesa 7 p.m.

If the Hawks win, they will play on Tuesday, May 30 at 7 p.m.  If they lose, they will play Tuesday, May 30 at 4 p.m.
