Everywhere you go these days you hear about the hit play "Momma Mia" at the Quincy Community Theatre (Q.C.T.).  I bet it is pretty cool to be a cast member of such a dynamic performance. The auditions must have been outstanding.  Speaking of auditions, the Q.C.T. has set up auditions for the future performance of  "Good People".

Have you ever been down on your luck? If so, you can relate to the characters and situations in Good People, Quincy Community Theatre’s new dramatic comedy that will debut this fall. The Theatre is looking for a strong, diverse cast for this thought-provoking modern play. Roles include three Caucasian women, two Caucasian men, and one African American woman, ages 23+.

Auditions for "Good People" will be held on Tuesday, July 31 and Wednesday, August 1. The performance of "Good People" will be from September 12 through 23. This is a play that is comedic and fiery featuring working-class characters. "Good People" is for any of us that wonder if our fate depends on luck or hard work and where you came from.

All are welcomed to audition, regardless of previous experience. Online registration, detailed requirements, audition tips and character descriptions are available at 1qct.org/on-stage/auditions.  You can schedule an audition at 1qct.org or call 217-222-3209.
