Are you ready for winter to end? I bet you are just like me. With single digits for morning lows and wind chills below zero, it is time for it all to come to an end.

On Super Bowl Sunday (February 2), most people will be talking about Denver or Seattle, but those of us wanting Mother Nature to ease up on us, we will be riveted on Punxsutawney Phil, who will poke his head out of his burrow at Gobbler's Knob, Pennsylvania and either see his shadow or not see it.

If he sees it, we have six more weeks of winter-like weather. If not, we will have an early spring. So lets hope it is a real cloudy and gloomy day in Pennsylvania that day.

In case you were wondering, Punxsutawney Phil has a last name of Sowerby and has been participating in Groundhog Day since 1886.
