Representatives from Peters Heating and Air Conditioning presented a check in the amount of $2,500 to the Blessing Foundation Breast Center on Tuesday—the latest installment in the ongoing “Pink Van Project”.

“We use the money for women in our community with a financial need…to help them with things such as breast imaging, gas to get to an appointment, wigs, prosthetics…just anything that is giving them stress throughout their journey,” Dawn Herzog, Breast Center Supervisor says. “We want to make things a little bit easier for them.”

Since its inception in 2015, the Pink Van Project has raised more than $8,500 for the Blessing Breast Center and James E Cary Cancer Center. The Pink Van Project is sponsored in part by Y101, KICK-FM and KHQA and all money raised stays local.

To support the Pink Van Project, simply request the Pink Van when you call Peters Heating and Air Conditioning for services. A portion of your total will go toward this initiative.
