Blues music fans, the place to be this upcoming weekend is Peoria, Illinois as the 29th Annual Peoria Blues & Heritage Music Festival will be held. The event will be held this Friday and Saturday with John Mayhall headlining Friday night and Dr. John headlining Saturday night.

Three stages will be utilized for the event on the Peoria Riverfront.  Friday's lineup begins with Tinsley Ellis performing at 7 p.m. followed by Keller Williams at 8:45 and concludes with John Mayhall at 10:30 taking to the main Riverview Stage.

On Saturday the music on the main Riverview Stage begins at 3 p.m. with Steady Flow performing followed by Matthew Curry at 4:30, Walter Trout at 6:15, John Butler Trio at 8:15 and concludes with Dr. John around 10:30.
