Do you ever rent movies or games from Redbox? If so, prepare to pay a little more. The parent compnay of Redbox, Outerwall, has announced that new prices for DVD, Blu-ray and video game rentals will go into effect in the coming weeks.

According to a news release, the daily rental price for DVDs from Redbox will increase from $1.20 to $1.50 beginning December 2. The price of Blu-ray discs will go up to $2 per day from $1.50. Video game prices will increase beginning January 6, going from $2 daily to $3 daily.

According to Redbox, the new pricing structure is only the second time in over 12 years that they have increased DVD rental fees.
