A new record high temperature was set in Hannibal Wednesday.

The National Weather Service official reporting station at the Hannibal Filter Plant reports the high temperature Wednesday topped out at 90 degrees, handily beating the old record of 85 set in 2001.

A cold front moved through the area last night, bringing some strong storms and much cooler temperatures.

Predicted highs through mid-week next week will range from the upper 40s to the low 60s.
