Money Scam Reported by Adams County Sheriff’s Department

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office would like to inform residents of a possible ongoing scam in the Adams County area.  Residents in the St. Ludgerus Road area and Royal Oaks Mobile Home Park have reported a subject going door-to-door soliciting residents for money.  The subject tells residents that they have a family member that has been injured and they need money for gas to get to an area hospital.  The subject is reported to be a white male twenty to thirty years of age, clean cut with dark hair.
