Ah, another sign of Spring is almost here as tomorrow will mark the beginning of Missouri's catch and keep "Trout Season".

Nearly 10-thousand anglers will be casting their lines at four Missouri State Parks with the most notable being Bennett Springs State Park near Lebanon, Missouri. Every year thousands of foot long trout are stocked in the State Parks by the Missouri Department of Conservation for opening day.

The pictures of fishermen standing shoulder to shoulder (see video) are incredible. It begs to ask the question "How do they not get their lines crossed up?"  I guess there is a reason fishermen are called "anglers".

The last person those fishermen would want standing in the water next to them would be me. There would be no doubt they would all be complaining at me for tying up their lines.

Maybe I should wait a few days and get the leftover trout if there are any.
