Back in 1966, The Beatles played a show at Candlestick Park. It was the last show the Beatles ever played live in a venue. Fast forward to August 14, 2014. A Beatle played the final show ever in Candlestick Park.

Paul McCartney paid tribute to Candlestick with a show that lasted some four hours, and he even brought some memories of that 1966 show with him. Not only were there live people playing up on the stage, but also there were some pictures that showed some of the 1966 concert in the background.

Cool stuff, and a fitting tribute to both the people who went to the many events through the years at Candlestick. It was also a fitting tribute to a man who has brought much cheer to many who love The Beatles.
