Mark Twain Avenue Will See Improvements

I was one of the many who said Mark Twain Avenue should remain five lanes.

Yes, it is in need of repairs like potholes, bad curbs and speeders. I have seen many drivers going 50 or more down the Avenue. Sometimes it is like a speedway.

The public took notice and said we need a better road. All the lanes on Mark Twain Avenue will be resurfaced from just south of Grand Avenue to Stowell School on Missouri 79, including parking spaces along Third Street. Sidewalks will also be upgraded in the area, making the road pedestrian and bicycle safe.
