The old saying says "When it rains, it pours". That is sadly even more true for a small Missouri town that was slammed by a deadly tornado in April and is now under flood waters brought about by 8 inches of rain.

Life is hard in Marble Hill, Missouri these days. As the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported, 5 residents were killed in April when a huge tornado rolled through the town.

Now, Business Insider is reporting that between 6 and 8 inches of rain fell over the weekend which brought on horrendous flash flooding that nearly washed away parts of the town.

That's left many of the residents in a situation where some are choosing not to rebuild and instead leave town according to a local pastor from a Marble Hill, Missouri church. His church, Marble Hill Baptist Church, at 502 Broadway St., Marble Hill has now become a shelter for those in the town that need assistance.

The Business Insider story said that many parts of town had 6 feet of water churning through the streets and sadly through many homes also.
