Quincy Mayor John Spring and Quincy Police Chief, Robert Copley kicked off the 2012 Project Red Ribbon Campaign for the Quinsippi Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving  earlier today.

A news conference was held this morning at Quincy's City Hall where the Mayor and Police Chief both added red ribbons to their vehicles to officially start the campaign. Motorists are being asked to tie a red ribbon on their vehicle as a visual reminder to not drink and drive.

If you would like a red ribbon, they are available free of charge at the Quincy police department, city hall, the Adams County Sheriff's office, area banks and churches. If all else fails in finding a ribbon, contact chairman J.T. Dozier at 224-3121.
