Living Windows & Dessert Party is This Weekend in Hannibal

Downtown Hannibal will be hopping this weekend with holiday cheer as the Victorian Festival of Christmas hits its peak on Saturday.

Saturday night, watch the downtown merchants windows come alive with Christmas characters at the annual Living Windows  https://www.historichannibalmo.com/ .  Stroll the decked out downtown and interact with the live Christmas scenes.  That event runs from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 14.

The Living Windows coincides with the last big hurrah for the 2019 Bicentennial festivities  https://www.hannibal2019.com/.  That's when Hannibal will try to set the world record for "World's Largest Dessert Party in One Location."  The goal is to have 2019 people to each eat a cupcake at 7 p.m.  Local bakeries are providing the cupcakes for this free event.

Registration will be from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in order to get an official count for the record books.  Y101 Radio will be playing Christmas music on Main Street to add to the jolly atmosphere.
