Here's a reminder for the last person leaving Liberty for Peoria today, please turn out the lights.  The Liberty Eagles will meet LeRoy today at 12:15 at Carver Arena in the Illinois State Class 1-A Semi-Final round.   The Eagles quest for a state title was in doubt when they were 7 points down to Waterloo-Gibault at the Jacksonville Bowl Tuesday night, but they closed out the game with a 10-0 run to move on.

LeRoy comes into the game with a record of 26 and 5 while the Liberty Eagles will take a 29 and 4 mark into this afternoon's contest. The other two teams advancing to the Semi-Finals in Class 1-A are Chicago Leo and Woodlawn.  Those two teams will play after the Liberty-LeRoy game concludes. The winners will play Saturday night for the State Championship.

The games will be televised live on the IHSA TV Network on Comcast SportsNet Chicago (locally on Channel 63 on local Comcast Cable) and also locally on The Tri-States CW (WGEM 10.2).
