Last Chance For Christmas Tour of John Wood Mansion

It is one of the must things you must do during the holiday season and that is visit the Governor John Wood Mansion for the annual Christmas Candlelight Tours. Your opportunity to do so is running out as this weekend is the last chance to go through the Mansion before Christmas.  Tours were held last weekend and will be held again tonight (Friday) and tomorrow night. The tours of the John Wood Mansion, located at 425 South 112^th Street (12^th & State Streets) will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. each evening.

There will be live music each evening by local musicians including Kayla Obert, Javaux Music School, Zeke and Carol Howerter, and Evetide Chamber Singers (Jillian Wagner Miller & Jerry Wagner with Friends).

Admission is free, but reservations are recommended by calling (217) 222-1835.  The Mansion Gift Shop will also be open. Tours tonight and tomorrow will begin in the Visitor’s Center.
