As a mom I, am always double checking my kiddos' car seats to make sure they're up to code. And while there are plenty of places to dispose of your old car seats, Kohl's in Quincy is giving you an extra incentive: money!

Safe Kids Adams County is holding their annual Car Seat Round Up this weekend (May 13th). The event will take place in the Kohl's parking lot (6100 Broadway) from 10 AM until 12 PM. This is a perfect opportunity to get rid of any old or expired car seats that might be laying around. In exchange for your car seat, you will receive a $10 Kohl's gift card to Kohl's! Supplies are limited and families can only exchange for up to $50 in gift cards.

If you want to make sure that your car seat is safe to use and there are no recalls, there are several car seat safety checks scheduled throughout the year. The next car seat safety check is May 12th from 4-6 PM. All car seat safety checks are done at the Central Fire Station, 906 Vermont in Quincy. During the safety check a certified car seat installer will make sure if your car seat is installed correctly and that there are no recalls on the car seat. The car safety checks are free to the public.
