Karaoke Contest a Part of Illinois State Fair

The Illinois State Fair recently announced the creation of a statewide karaoke contest that will culminate with the winner getting to sing two songs as a warm-up to the Little Big Town concert at State Fair Grandstand on August 20 as well as another show at the DuQuoin State Fair. To become the grand prize winner you must advance out of competition at eight separate county fairs from across the State of Illinois. The closest county fair featuring the karaoke competition in our area is in Rushville at the Schuyler County Fair on June 29^th.
