On a bitterly cold winter's morning, a husband and wife were listening to the radio while they were eating breakfast. They heard the announcer say, "we are going to have 8 - 10 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the even numbered side of the streets so that the snow plow can get through conveniently." The man went out and moved his car as instructed.

A week later, they were eating breakfast again when the radio announcer said, "we are expecting 8 - 10 inches of snow again today. You must park your car on the odd number side of the street today so that the snow plows can get through." So the man went out and moved his car again.

The next week, the couple was again having breakfast when the radio announcer said, "we are expecting 12 -1 4 inches of snow today, you must park..." The power went out.

The man couldn't hear what side of the street to park on, and he was very upset, and said to his wife, "I don't know what to do, how will I know what side of the street to park the car on?"

The wife replied, "why don't you leave the car in the garage this time?"
