John Busen Benefit & Hog Roast

A benefit and hog roast for the John Busen family will be held on July 15^th at the K of C in Quincy.  The event will feature live music, raffles, a bake sale, auctions, food and drink.

Donations may be sent to the John Busen Benefit c/o First Mid-Illinois Bank and Trust at 3233 Broadway in Quincy.

John passed away from Myelodysplastic Syndrome.  He received a Stem Cell Transplant in June of last year in St. Louis and returned to Quincy last fall.  Medical problems continued to force John to travel to St. Louis often for additional treatment before losing his battle with cancer in May.

John was married to his wife, Linda, for 43 years and they have two daughters, Stacy Larson and Sarah Busen and two grandchildren .All proceeds from Sunday's event will go to the family.  For more information you can log onto facebook.com (John Busen Benefit).
