Jobs Open for Hannibal Area Teenagers

This time of year, you’ll see queries about summer jobs available for teenagers. Not many places hire 15-year-olds, so those jobs are snatched up pretty quickly. At the Hannibal Aquatic Center, 30 summer jobs are available to the 15-and-older set.

Applications for summer jobs with the Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department are available now. They will be accepted until March 19. The city is looking to hire several dozen people to staff the Hannibal Aquatic Center. The pool needs 30 lifeguards. Applicants should be strong swimmers, but they don’t need to be pre-certified. The aquatics director will train and certify lifeguards. In addition to lifeguards, the Aquatic Center will hire front desk and concession workers.

There are also a few openings for seasonal maintenance work at the Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department. Those applicants must be at least 16.
