JC Penney In Hannibal Is Safe…For Now

Last month, JC Penney announced that they would be closing 138 stores this year. Today, JC Penney corporate's official announcement was released. Here's who didn't make the cut.

According to a new release sent out by JC Penney, 138 stores will be closing in 2017. For now, the JC Penney in Hannibal is safe, but the JC Penney in Macomb will be closing. The process to start closing all 138 will begin on April 17. The Macomb location will close on June 1st, according to a report from KHQA News.
