John Wood Community College will provide free financial aid information for college-bound students and their parents during information sessions at area high schools. The sessions are open to the public and free of charge. Reservations are not needed.

Financial aid professionals will be available to provide information on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and answer related questions. The FAFSA is a free online application that determines eligibility for federal and state grants and federal loans.

Some scholarships require students to have the FAFSA on file. The sessions will provide additional information on other college financial aid opportunities. Six sessions are scheduled for the month of September. The sessions and dates are listed below.

September 13                     Central High School                           6:00 p.m.

September 14                     Brown County High School                6:00 p.m.

September 20                     Quincy Senior High School                6:00 p.m.

September 21                     Pittsfield High School                         6:30 p.m.

September 27                     Quincy Notre Dame                           7:00 p.m.

September 28                     Liberty High School                           6:30 p.m.
