IHOP Giving Away Free Pancakes Today

Today is the International House of Pancakes “free pancake day”. This year’s theme is “Flip it forward for kids”.  For the 14^th year, IHOP will be giving away free pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to anyone who wants them. The deal is based on a short stack per person. All recipients of pancakes are not charged but are asked to make a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Shriners Hospitals for Children. Last year the chain raised $4 million.

IHOP will also be selling a $5 wall icon supporting the charity between now and end of day with a coupon for a future visit awarded to all who make a purchase. Donations made for the cause will be accepted by IHOP through March 31.  The Quincy IHOP is located at 33^rd and Broadway.
