We all get 'em and we all hate 'em. I'm talking of course about telemarketer calls. While I typically ignore calls from unknown numbers, I never thought that actually putting up with these types of calls could pay off. Looks like I was wrong.

If you've received a call from a telemarketer wanting to sell you a cruise, you could be entitled to some money!

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Resort Marketing Group, claiming the group violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. The lawsuit goes on to say that Resorts Marketing Group made "robo" calls on cell phones and landlines trying to entice you into taking a "free" cruise, according to Top Class Actions.

There is an easy way to find out if you are entitled to any of the settlement money. Simply type in your phone number (whether landline or cell) and it will immediately let you know of you will be getting any cash.

No money for me or my husband unfortunately, but if your number is part of the settlement, there are a few questions you will have to answer. Just make sure you take care of everything before November 3, 2017.

So as annoying as that call may have been, it might have been worth it to you. I mean, if your cell number is part of the settlement, you might want to buy a Powerball ticket while you're at it.
