Hop On Over To These Easter Egg Hunts In The Quincy/Hannibal Area

Easter will be here soon, and if your kids are like mine, they're looking forward to Easter egg hunts! I did a little hunting myself to find all of the events in our area. Here's what I was able to find...

3/24 - Hy-Vee On Harrison Easter Egg Hunt (9:00 am to 2:00 pm)
And the Easter Bunny will be there for pictures!

3/24 - County Market In Hannibal Easter Egg Hunt (10:00 am to 1:00 pm)
In addition to the Easter egg hunt, they're hosting a cookout AND giving away two bikes (one for a boy and one for a girl). You can register in person at the event.

3/25 - Quincy YMCA Under Water Easter Egg Hunt (3:00 pm to 5:00 pm)
This one's a little different, but sounds like A LOT of fun! Your kids can hunt for Easter eggs in the YMCA pool! This one is open to kids ten and under and includes an Easter snack activity. If you find the golden egg, you will win a prize. There are several time slots, but registration is appreciated by March 23.

3/25 - 3rd Annual Doggie Easter Egg Hunt
Homeward Bound Waggin' is hosting a special Easter egg hunt for your four-legged friends! There is a $5 entry fee for your pet to find six treat filled eggs. If any of the eggs contain a "golden bone", you win a basket donated by local businesses. Pet Supplies Plus (48th and Broadway) will be hosting the event, and there will be goody bags for all. And you can have your pet get his/her picture taken with the Easter Bunny as well.

4/01 - Easter Sundy Brunch with the Easter Bunny (10:00 am to 3:00 pm)
Not an Easter egg hunt, but still a fun event to get you into the spirit. Join our friends at the Mark Twain Dinette for photos with the Easter Bunny and enjoy selections from their brunch menu such as Salmon Avocado Eggs Benedict, Chicken and Waffles, Brisket and Eggs, Bottomless Mimosas, and more.
