A few weeks ago Tim Bliefnick of Quincy was on the Family Feud Show along with his family.  It's always fun to see local people on a national program. The Bliefnick family were winners on the show as well which made it even better.  It got me to wondering about game shows on TV.  Years ago the TV networks would have plenty of TV game shows to watch, but over the years those shows have dwindled down to a precious few. If you could choose one show (present of past) as the best TV game show, what show would that be?

One of my favorites was Hollywood Squares. Peter Marshall was the host of the show which featured nine celebrities each seated in their own square on a three story set to play a tic-tac-toe game.  There were two players at a time who would choose a celebrity to answer a question asked.

You could agree or disagree with the answer and if you were correct you would get that square. If you won the squares and got three in a row either horizontally, vertically or diagonally you would be the winner.

The best part of the game was waiting for the celebrities to answer the sometimes risque questions which led to some funny answers. My favorite celebrity on the show was Paul Lynde.  Lynde always occupied the center square on the set which meant he would be involved more often than others. His answers were classics. Check out the video below to see what I mean.
